State law\u00a0requires<\/em> that citizens notify the Forestry Commission before burning outdoors.<\/strong> You can contact the South Carolina Forestry by telephone at 1-800-986-5299 <\/strong>or online at https:\/\/www.scfc.gov\/notify\/ <\/strong><\/a>and submit a burn notification. You do NOT<\/strong> need to call Taylors Fire Department for a burn permit or to submit a burn notification.<\/p>\n
