Outdoor Burning

Please read in its entirety Greenville County’s Ordinance No. 3201 and the South Carolina Forestry’s Fire & Burning webpage before any outdoor burning!

State law requires that citizens notify the Forestry Commission before burning outdoors. You can contact the South Carolina Forestry by telephone at 1-800-986-5299 or online at https://www.scfc.gov/notify/ and submit a burn notification. You do NOT need to call Taylors Fire Department for a burn permit or to submit a burn notification.
